The Essential Denim Long Sleeve Shirt Dress

Very pleased with this dress. Anything that buttons up is always a gamble and once again Wildfang comes through. Looking forward to wearing the dress once the blazing heat of summer passes.

One oddity that has nothing to do with the dress itself and so does not impact the rating: upon arrival the dress absolutely reeked of cologne. Very overwhelming smell that did not dissipate. Have chucked the dress directly into the wash and expect that will do the trick. Never had anything arrive before with such a pungent aroma.

As much as I do not like the smell, I can’t help but wonder what adventures befell this dress on its journey to me. Was there a love affair betwixt denim shirt dress and empowerment blazer? Did both of them choose to follow their dreams to make someone look really good and decide that was a higher calling than their love? Will they pine for each other even as they succeed in their goals? Will there come a day when I walk past someone wearing said blazer while I wear this dress? Will we bump into each other getting on the bus? Will that person somehow be the love of my life? Am I actually in a romcom?

Anyway, great dress. Would buy again (preferably without the smell.)
