Great (not-so) basic piece
I went with my usual shirtdress size (L, see below) for a closer fit, but it’s still not clingy and hangs nicely. The fabric is really soft and moves well — not stiff at all. Collar lays nicely all buttoned up, and it looks good with a button or two (or three) undone as well — assuming you don’t mind the white-ish fabric back showing. The calla print and the teal-ish animal print are really, really lovely.
I usually wear an XL in the coveralls (L in the denim version) and a L in the shirt dress.

LOVE IT
I love everything about the empower button ups. They are so comfy and stylish and they hang just right. I especially appreciate that the buttons don't gap at all, a problem I frequently have with button up shirts.
