HEY, WE'RE WILDFANG

Wildfang started in 2013 with a simple question: Why were powerful clothes never made for people like us?

CEO Emma McIlroy found herself—again—in the men’s section, eyeing the styles she loved but never finding a fit that matched her body and her vibe. So she and her BFF, Julia Parsley, as well as Creative Director, Taralyn Thuot, all ditched their corporate gigs and set out to build Wildfang.

In a world where real pockets were rare, gender norms were rigid, and power dressing didn’t include everyone, they made their own rules—and their own damn clothes. They saw the power of menswear-inspired fashion not just as a trend, but as a tool to unlock real confidence.

Today, Wildfang creates bold suiting, reimagined workwear, and statement staples in sizes XS–4X—made to give you the confidence to walk into any room, and the connection to know your people are right behind you.

SUSTAINABILITY

We’re committed to instating greener, more sustainable practices throughout all facets of our business. Our biggest step yet? As of August 2022, WE’RE CERTIFIED WITH THE CLIMATE LABEL. Here’s the latest on where we’re at (and where we’re going).

CLIMATE LABEL CERTIFICATION
❯ The fashion industry’s environmental impact is undeniable—this title holds us (and all certified brands) accountable. Certification is achieved through a rigorous process of measuring current emissions, offsetting them, and making an actionable plan to further reduce them in the coming year.

PRODUCTION, MANUFACTURING, & PACKAGING
❯ Our production optimizes material usage to minimize wasted material.
❯ Our manufacturing partners meet the global recycled standard and their worker conditions are audited to ensure they meet safety standards.
❯ As of 2024, all orders are delivered in fully compostable mailers or recyclable boxes.

GIVING BACK

Since our launch, we’ve given back over $1 million to good causes like ProjectQ, ACLU, Planned Parenthood, Tegan & Sara Foundation, The Trevor Project, RAICES, Girls Inc, and many more. This year we've taken our commitment to the next level by taking the 1% PLEDGE. In partnership with Pledge 1%, we’re committing at least 1% of annual revenue to orgs doing the work that matters.

WE BROKE A WORLD RECORD

It's official. WE'VE GOT A WORLD RECORD. Here's what happened: we partnered with Darcelle XV in Portland, OR to throw the world's longest drag show. Then we got The Trevor Project involved and raised over $300,000 in support of crisis services for queer youth. Oh—and we got the whole thing certified by Guinness World Records. Cheers to making history.
