Who You Are:
In this highly dynamic and fast-paced environment, the WILDFANG PRODUCTION MANAGER will be the leader in driving production from development thru to manufacturing. You will manage the Go-To-Market calendar, implement and improve both internal and external tools and processes, and maintain strong partner communication and relationships. You will partner cross functionally with Design, Merch, Ops, + Growth to develop product that is on-time, on-brand, and on-budget.
Responsibilities + Duties:
- Develop and drive multi-track production calendars. Work with internal and external partners on timing and action deliverables that m back to Wildfang GTM calendar
- Ensure deadlines and deliveries are met. Be proactive in managing the internal team and processes, eliminating potential roadblocks and keeping us on calendar
- Analyze and strategize lead times for new production & reorders, and implement into GTM calendar . Establish standards, monitor changes, and highlight and act upon opportunities within vendors lead times
- Map and manage strategies for speed to market throughout the production process, including booking greige and factory capacity, as well as other creative or industry best practice solutions
- Create, implement and drive scalable process and tools to optimize efficiencies and fuel centralized information and communication
- Establish and manage Wildfang product libraries including but not limited to trims, materials, patterns, and specs.
- Manage product testing as well as Quality Analysis process/standards with factory + fulfillment partners
- Create, manage and monitor product shipping guidelines and specifications
- Create and manage costing sheets, work with design team to ensure products are hitting/exceeding FOB targets
- Research and build relationships with new and existing vendors to ensure roadmap for future development and drive towards more sustainable practices
- Establish and maintain healthy and effective relationships with current vendors to maximize our ability to build and deliver WILDFANG product at margin and on time
Requirements:
- Portland,OR based
- 3-4 years of experience in product/garment development and production
- Sewing/garment construction knowledge, specifically in wovens
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.
- Demonstrate expertise in Production Lead-times globally and use the knowledge to challenge vendors, working to reduce when possible
- Excellent communication, organization,project management and planning skills
- Proven ability to work independently, identify opportunities for improved efficiency, and lead cross-functional process improvement
- Flexibility and positive attitude in a constantly changing environment
- Experience managing external partners
- PLM system experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
