The Empower Suspenders

I was looking for a pair of simple, black suspenders that had good quality construction and clips. I have recently been able to lose weight and have been working to dress better as my confidence and self image are improving. What I found was a fantastic company that puts out excellent product and supports a cause I passionately believe in (Trevor Project). The suspenders are built well, with minimal branding. The fabric is high quality and the hardware seems durable. As a straight man, I didn’t know how I would be received here. Yes, I know I could have just bought the suspenders without question. But I wanted to give them the opportunity to know who was buying their stuff. The people I talked to were so kind and supportive. I cannot speak highly enough of Wildfang. Yes their products are expensive, but well worth it (I am absolutely buying one of their Empower ties!). Thank you!

I wasn't sure these would be long enough, but there is plenty of adjustment room and stretch for people with a longer torso like me. I wore them yesterday with a fitted T and jeans. I love them and definitely recommend. I haven't worn suspenders since the 80's, and I'm so happy that I can do so again now.

Maybe I’m just too short but I should have been more suspicious when there weren’t photos of the suspenders from the back. They just don’t fit because the back piece is up at the top of my neck when i tighten them and they don’t lay right. I’m not returning because I don’t want to pay the restocking fee so will gift to someone taller than me.
